My gosh… there are soooo many methods
Personally, I use mostly free methods:
1/ Writing articles and submitting them to article directories such as ezinearticles.com
2/ Creating a blog and posting regularly.. with links in the posts
3/ Participating in forums and placing your links in the signature
4/ Posting videos related to your topic on video sites such as youtube.com
5/ Creating a lens on Squidoo.com
6/ Social bookmarking
…. And so much more

There several ways to market your affiliate links: The first one is to create a website with decent content that should relate to whatever products your affiliate link provider is selling. If you don’t want to create a website, you can use the affiliate provider’s website (if they have one). Obviously, whoever’s website you use, you still have to market it. You can use socialbookmarking sites or use Google Adwords or Yahoo Ads. Just don’t post in forums or other places or else they’ll be marked as spam.
